Hey guys. We thought we might give a quick run down on some of the tracks off our EP. This is the first song off our EP called Smoke Trails. A lot of this song was written in the wee hours of the morning: you might be able to tell.
It's about how even though we go though rough experiences, we live such good lives in hindsight. At the end of the day I'm lucky to know that my biggest problems are failing uni or losing my girl. Smoke Trails is about putting it all in perspective. - Kai
For any budding producers, the beat was made with drum samples off vinyl, a small vocal sample from an old blues cassette, the chords are from my Prophet 08 synth, and the melody is from a slightly effected sine wave.
